MOJAWHRATY
by Malabar Jewelers
Problem
The brand was seeking to establish itself as a contemporary Arabic jewelry brand that resonates with the modern UAE woman, steering away from its association with traditional Indian brand identity and the Malabar Jeweler legacy. The goal was to create a distinct, sophisticated image that embodies cultural relevance, modernity, and luxury in the UAE market.
Solution
To establish itself as a contemporary Arabic jewelry brand for the modern UAE woman, the brand’s identity was created with a focus on sophistication, elegance, and cultural relevance. This began with a complete overhaul of the brand’s visual identity, including a new typography, and color palette inspired by modern Arabic aesthetics. Warm golds, deep jewel tones, and geometric patterns were incorporated to evoke luxury and timelessness while moving away from traditional Indian design elements. Packaging reflected premium quality, with the use of metallic finishes and bilingual branding to resonate with the regional audience. The jewelry collections would also embody this shift by blending Arabic cultural motifs, such as calligraphy or traditional patterns, with sleek, modern designs that appeal to contemporary tastes. These collections told stories of empowerment, heritage, and individuality, positioning the pieces as both aspirational and versatile. By focusing on elegant storytelling and aligning design elements across branding, products, and packaging, the brand successfully differentiate itself in the UAE market and ccaptures its target audience's attention
